Rebate Programs

The City of Austin, the City of Round Rock and other qualifying water district customers are eligible for rebates on specific improvements to their irrigation systems. The rebate is a one-time reimbursement offer that covers a percentage of the cost for sprinkler system improvements. At this time, the City of Austin and the City of Round Rock are both offering a maximum rebate of $400. Included below is a list of qualifying improvements that can entitle you to a rebate:

  • Installing a pressure reducer valve or pressure reducing zone valves
  • Adding a rain sensor or sensors (i.e. rain, freeze, soil)
  • Adding check valve(s)
  • Converting an existing zone to efficient, low volume sprinkler nozzles (i.e. rotary)
  • Converting an existing zone to drip or bubblers
  • Capping an existing zone
